Jaggery Banana Halwa

Ingredients

  • Small banana – 5
  • Shruti’s jaggery – 5 tea spoon
  • Ghee – 3 teaspoon
  • Cashew nuts – 4-5 nos
  • Coconut pieces – 1 teaspoon

Cooking Method

1. Cut the bananas into pieces and make it into a paste and keep it aside.
2. In a pan and add ghee and roast cashew nuts and keep it aside.
3. Add some more ghee to the pan and then add banana paste and cook well.
4. Mix 200 gm of sruthis jaggery powder in 2 cups of water and add it to the banana mix in the pan.
5. Stir well and cook until it becomes very thick.
6. Add 1 teaspoon of ghee in between.
7. Stir until the mix completely separates from the pan.
8. Take a greased plate to mold the halva, grease it with ghee and add the halva mix into it.
9. Keep it for an hour to set, do not refrigerate.
10. After an hour cut into desired shape and enjoy.
