Sweet Potato Roll

Ingredients

  • Sweet potato – 200gm
  • Shruti’s jaggery – 200 gm
  • Ghee – 4 teaspoon
  • Rice flour – 4 teaspoon
  • Grated Coconut – 1 cup

Cooking Method

1. Let’s grate the boiled or steamed sweet potatoes and set it aside.
2. In a pan add 3 teaspoons of ghee.
3. Add Shruti’s jaggery powder to the heated ghee and mix well.
4. Add 1 glass of water and stir well till it boils.
5. Then add rice flour slowly to the boiling Jaggery syrup and stir well.
6. nce the mixture thickens, add grated sweet potato and stir well until it becomes thick and separates from the pan.
Keep it for 5 minutes to set.
7. To shape it, grease your hands.
8. Take a small portion of mix and roll it by your hands to your desired shape. Here I am making a cylindrical shape.
9. Take grated coconut in a plate and dip the rolled sweet potato mix in coconut and roll it to cover all the surfaces.
